During the WSC a couple of people in the chat section kept complaining about Shaun White - I kept saying ‘shut up’ because it gets annoying, repetitive and, seriously, lets focus on the truly amazing athletes that were at the WSC.

Some kept bringing up the reason that Shaun White wasn’t at the…

I have no respect for people who say they have no respect for someone anymore because of an article they read giving the third degree from someone.

Terge is NOT in direct contact with Shaun, his sponsors, or his staff so he has no proof of his claim.

Shaun gets flack with whatever he chooses to do or even NOT do for that matter. I knew there would be backlash for Shaun not showing up for the WSC. It wouldn’t be any different if he DID in fact show up.

I’m so sick of this “he has no respect for the sport” bullshit. He can do whatever the fuck he wants. He doesn’t need permission from his peers and most definitely not from his nay sayers.

Clearly you do not understand or know who Terje is or what his role is within the TTR/WSC foundations.

It’s so sad that you think Terje would lie about this - knowing full well what it would bring about. Terje and Henning (bet ya don’t who that is) would have definitely been in contact with Shaun, Shaun’s manager, etc. leading up to the WSC.

You’re just fooling yourself into believing that Shaun is getting the short end of the stick here - you’re deluding yourself into thinking he’s perfect. He’s not.

FYI, I don’t have a lot of respect for people who can’t see the faults of their ‘heroes’.

I never said Shaun was perfect, sweetheart. And, yes, I do know who Henning is. I’m a Shaun fan so I most not know this.

I’m tired of all the finger pointing at Shaun.

What would be the word from his peers if he DID in fact go to the WSC? What would be the complaint about him then? His pants? Why he got that score? He’s there only for the money?

It’s all childish to me. It’s exactly like high school with the whole he said, she said nonsense.

The reason snowboarding seems to revolve around Shaun is because everyone keeps bringing him up.

For the record - Shaun wanting money to participate in the WSC is not a case of “he said/she said” - it’s fact.

Again, proves he’s not interested in snowboarding, only interested in the pay cheque.

Sad.

If Shaun was no longer interested in snowboarding, he wouldn’t be busting his ass practicing and learning new tricks.

He’s won two Olympic gold medals. He trains hard for TWO sports while keeping up with his business endeavors and sponsorships and remains a top athlete in both sports when he competes.

He’s like the Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods of his sport. He’s earned the right to ask for an appearance fee.

That’s cool though. You all continue to complain about him asking for money and thinking he doesn’t care about his sport.

Wow. You have it bad. You pretty much sum up why I can’t stand Shaun White’s fan-girls. You’re so blinded and narrow minded, you refuse to see the bad side of him when it’s proven.

Shaun isn’t interested in snowboarding. All he cares about is being number one. That’s why he’s in semi-private training - that’s why he fakes an injury to get out of competitions so he can train. If he truly cared about snowboarding - he’d be more open and honest and not faking injuries whenever it suits him. He’d also be more interested in other aspects of snowboarding - he’s so narrow minded, he’s lost sight of what snowboarding is about … for him it’s only a pay cheque, nothing more.

Busting his ass in semi-private you mean - very non sportsmanlike. Sorry but that will never be cool with me - while the top competition are out doing WAY more events than Shaun does, getting their training done in front of each other - that fuck nut is practicing without anyone of them around. It’s unfair, it’s arrogant, it’s untruthful.

How many times has his ankle hurt him recently? Seriously - get a new injury to complain about - one that’s more legit. Faker.

But whatever - continue living in your sad, delusional, one-track mind world. I’m done with you.
